Assessment Plan

Two Formative Assessments and one Summative Assessment will be conducted in each of the two terms that the academic session is divided into. In tandem or connection with the CBSE directives, the weight age will be as follows:-

Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation i.e CCE will be from the basis for a holistic areas like life skills, Attitudes and Values, Participation and Achievement in activities involving literary and creative skills, sciencetific Skills, Aesthetic Skills and Performing arts and clubs as well as Health and Physical Education.

Doon Public School Jharsuguda follows the CBSE curriculum. We lay grate emphasis on a child’s all-round development, for us academic are important as well as extra-curriculum activities too. We work towards bringing out the latent talent of our children and shape their skills so that they achieve perfection in their respective sphere.

It is not surprising therefore that our children remain adventurous learners throughout their lives.

III. MIDDLE & HIGH LEVEL :- Class V & Above.

• Learning through group discussion, projects and as well as hands-on activities and experimention.
• Emphasis is laid more on ‘self learning bu doing’ rather than rote learning.
